"This museum exhibits some of the collection of flora and fauna watercolours by the Robert painters. The brothers Karl and Robert Walser also have pride of place. A chance to rediscover the genius of these two brothers through photos, manuscripts and original woodcuts. Would you like to enter the world of a bourgeois family from the end of the 19th century? Well, put on a pair of slippers and visit two completely preserved apartments: everything is from the period. Another part of the museum is devoted to the industrial history of Biel/Bienne: watchmaking, textiles and wire works. At the end, you will discover the Cinécollection. This is a highly eclectic collection tracing the path that led to the invention of cinema. But the high point of the visit is still to come: a human-sized camera obscura. A ray of zenithal light enters this dark cage, allowing you to watch the passers-by walking back and forth along the river Suze. Absolutely brilliant!"
