Thanks to the Festival du film français d'Hélvetie the city of bilingualism is totally dedicated to the French-speaking cinema during five days. About 25 films will be shown, sometimes many previews. The films are shown in their original language, most of them with German subtitles. The FFFH wants to bring together the two different cultures and inspire both French- and German-speaking cinema lovers. The daily panel discussions with talents of the 7th art (with simultaneous German translation) offer exceptional moments of encounter and exchange.
