"We were rolling gently downhill through the shadowy forest. The “Source de la Dou” babbled its way along. Later we saw cows grazing on the pasture. In Cormoret and Courtelary we were struck by the beautiful Jura-style farmhouses and the distinctive wells. The gliders who had taken off from the airfield right next to the route were circling the valley. After a short climb, we stopped abruptly at the sight of some dinosaur tracks. Before finishing the tour with a downhill ride to Biel/Bienne, we treated ourselves to a hearty meal at the Métairie de Nidau halfway along the route."
