"Travelling by bus from Biel, it takes half an hour to reach Les Prés-d'Orvin, situated 600 m higher. The start of the descent actually runs uphill. Of course you could also take the downhill path straight from the bus stop in Les Prés-d’Orvin, but then you would miss the extraordinary view offered by Mont Sujet, not to mention the far more enjoyable descent onto the Plateau de Diesse. The same goes for the second part of the tour, with a short uphill section on the Twannberg. As you enjoy the superb views of Lake Biel that constantly reveal themselves between the passages, some of which are highly technical, you will quickly forget the steep climb."
